Sasha is bold and bossy--a strong alpha female who will see that
all stock minds their manners and treats master with respect.
She is a highly protective dog who would defend her home and
pack. Sasha has chickens and horses on her farm. She
is trustworthy with the chickens and will leave the chicks
alone. Her guardian nature comes out in her protective
enforcer behavior. At a clinic with Bob Vest, Sasha proved
to be very dominant with the stock. She barks orders and
expects results. She likes to work the front end of the
stock and will jump at their head to turn them. She is
intelligent and has excellent judgment shown in her stock rating
ability and her discernment of people. Sasha excels at
staying home without confinement. She is an avid hunter
and has killed rats, mice, snakes, opossums, coons and rabbits.
She will tree prey. Until full maturity she was a very
active dog, but has settled with age. She has a mind of
her own, but will accept her master's authority.
