With strangers he is cautious at first until he realizes they mean no harm. Nice dog. Sounds like he might be a younger fellow (gets more excited about the poultry) if so will likely settle down more as he gains in maturity and confidence. -Tish Toren |

Ranger is a
bossy dog who likes to be in charge and make the other animals
mind his owners rules and commands. He has worked goats
and poultry. Ranger is very reliable in
returning escapees to their proper pens. If the occasion calls
for it, he grips on the heel or hock, and likes to gather.
He is gentle and loving with the babies and protects them as
well as the territory.
