These chickens are JM Colored Range Broilers, raised on pasture, with no medication of any kind, ever. They live a natural, low-stress life, and are tame and content.

 They've been fed only wholesome custom feed from a local mill, and are completely free-range, going into their open portable shelter at night, protected from predators by our English shepherds.

Two humanely-raised, free-pastured Brandywine broilersChickens will be shipped frozen with ice packs, to the lower 48 US only. I will arrange to ship ASAP after the auction ends, but will avoid shipping through extreme heat.

Average weight will be 4 pounds. These will be whole dressed chickens.

 Approximately half their food intake is forage from our diverse, organically-maintained lush summer pastures. Chickens raised on pasture are high in healthy omega-3 fatty acids and full of flavor.

The freedom rangers grow moderately and are slaughtered at 11-12 weeks -- almost twice as old as commercial hybrid chickens. This gives them a firmer texture and a real-chicken taste that you can't get from a six-week-old industrial bird.
