Flora works cattle in a dairy setting and chickens. Flora is very biddable and easy to call off when herding. She never grips the livestock. She uses some shouldering and a dominant stare. Flora only works when needed and uses dominance behaviors to control the livestock.
Flora is gentle and protective with babies – whether livestock or children. She shows no aggression unless absolutely necessary.
Flora hunts primarily by sight but uses tracking skills to find prey. She prefers to drive unwanted pests away rather than eliminate them, but will stand her ground with more challenging prey if need be.
Flora barks to announce the arrival of strangers but shows no aggression toward humans unless they pose a threat.
Sounds like a sweet, easy dog. PRGN 🙂
What a wonderful girl!! PRGN
