Max works goats chickens and horses. Max watches the gate, seldom barks but alerts to escapees and always returns them to their proper pen.
Mac will grip on the nose or ear if necessary. He prefers to drive and easily commands the respect of the livestock.
A devoted dog that always has his master’s back, Max is works independently to maintain rules of territory and exhibits careful protection of baby livestock.
Max has never met a person he doesn’t love. He treats visitors as though they have come specifically to pet him and can be a real pest the first five minutes or so- then he calms down.
Solid worker.
