Whiskey has worked sheep, cattle, goats, turkeys, chickens, ducks – works sheep best, but will be a nice calm cattle dog as she gets more experience.  Very mellow.

If the stock are not listening to her, most typically goats, she will grip on the neck to improve her power.

Whiskey is affectionate with baby livestock and the mothers trust her.  She insists that the livestock obey her master’s commands, but although she learns commands quickly she often resents them.

Whiskey would prefer to drive pests away rather than kill them.  She is quite laid back with a low activity level.  She resents strange dogs in her territory and announces the arrival of guests but is not aggressive toward them unless they pose a threat.

She works with clients just fine.
