Essence lives up to her name.  She is a great all round farm dog showing the instincts that her ancestors were famous for.  She is adept at all three areas – Herding, Livestock Guardian, and Hunting.  Although very strong in her guardian nature, she is like her Grandma Lilly and is quite biddable. When treeing squirrels, she is like her grandma Susie Q – somewhat hesitant to bark and raise a ruckus!
