Punch is a moderately active dog, but with very intense herding instinct.  She has worked cattle, sheep, goats, turkeys, ducks, chickens, guineas, and cats!  She’s very maternal, sniffing and licking babies, and mothers accept her presence without worry.

Punch is primarily oriented towards humans and is good watching her master’s back.  She patrols her territory, hunts both rodent pests and snakes, and discourages strange dogs.  She is a scent hunter who uses tracking skill to find game.
