Tony is a moderately-active farmcollie with a good grasp of how to modify his intensity to suit his livestock. He’s had a lot of opportunity to prove himself, working sheep, goats, hogs, cattle, and fowl on his farm.  He herds using mostly upright posture, with grip used in the case of stubborn stock.

Baby livestock are Tony’s specialty. He is extremely patient and gentle while herding them, nurturing and protecting them when they don’t require moving. He knows the difference between his stock and the neighbor’s, driving the other animals off the property line; he alerts and places himself between predators and his animals. He patrols the property at his owner’s side, keeping order between his livestock and watching his owner’s back. While he’s aloof with strangers, he will accept attention from welcomed visitors.

Tony hunts and eliminates small vermin by sight and scent.
